Patient Information

Here is everything you need to know before your visit – from clinic hours and how appointments work, to what to bring and insurance/payment details.

Clinic Hours

Our general opening hours are:

  • Monday – Friday: 24 hours
  • Saturday: 24 hours
  • Sunday & Public Holidays: Open 24/7

Note: Tinna Medical Centre operates 24/7 for all medical needs, including weekends and public holidays.

📋How Appointments Work

There are two main ways to be seen at Tinna Medical Centre:

  • Booked Appointments: Call, WhatsApp or use our online booking form to schedule a time.
  • Walk-ins: You may walk in during clinic hours; we will attend to you in order of urgency and arrival.

For specialist reviews (e.g. obstetrics, paediatrics, surgery, internal medicine), we recommend booking in advance so we can reserve enough time for you.

🧾What to Bring

  • Any form of identification (if available). If you don’t have one, you can still be assisted.
  • Any referral letter, previous clinic cards or discharge summaries (if you have them).
  • A current medication list or the medication containers.
  • Insurance card or membership details (if you are using medical insurance).
  • For maternity/antenatal visits – your antenatal card and any scan reports (if available).

💳Insurance & Payment Options

We aim to make payments as convenient as possible:

  • Cash payments at reception.
  • Mobile money / bank transfer (ask reception for details).
  • Medical insurance: We are in partnership with several insurance providers. Please present your insurance card on arrival so we can confirm cover.

If you are unsure whether your insurance is accepted, please call or WhatsApp us before your visit.
